It’s been two weeks since my gastric band operation and I am recovering well. A couple of days after I got back home I got the ‘change this weave’ itch and it came in the form of my favourite kinky curly install with the virgin hair that that I boiled myself. I love this hair, it’s gorgeous but its not easy (no curly hair is). The tangling at the back can get quite frustrating but when I spray it in the morning and the curls plump up to perfection, I can forgive anything.
I left out a horseshoe section at the front and about 1/2 inch perimetre all around which I cornrowed down overnight to blend with the rest of the weave:

Unfortunately now I have the itch again, you know me, can’t keep a weave in for more than 2 weeks (it used to be 3!) I just ordered some Chinese virgin hair from Emily at qd hair and beauty. I ordered 1 pack 16 inches and the other 14 inches. I have finally decided to increase the length of my weaves as my own hair catches up. Even my kinky curly hair (14 inches) will have to be retired soon because my own hair which is currently the same length as the weave will get longer and start to look silly. A good problem to have I dare say so I’m not complaining.
