I’ve got relaxed hair envy!

I’ve never made a secret of the fact that I went natural because I was tired of breaking hair (I had terribly overprocessed hair) and not for any noble reason. Now that I am natural, I love my kinky curly fro and wouldn’t change it for anything but from time to time, I stumble upon youtube videos with ladies with long healthy relaxed or texlaxed hair and I get  . . . what do you call it . . . JEALOUS! I know my hair strands are too fine and will never do well with chemicals (even a texturizer applied for 5 minutes on my hair straightens it!) but I cant help but fell envious of the ladies who have more resililent hair and have managed to grow their locks long and healthy even with the use of chemicals.

Can I just state categorically that I have no intention of relaxing, texlaxing or texturizing, I love my kinky hair too much, but it’s strange how the grass is always greener on the other side!

Look at the video I was watching that made me envious.

I like what I've seen so far on your blog, but my question is can I achieve healthy long hair without using weaves+wigs? I have ear length relaxed hair now and have never passed SL.  But want to start my hair journey now. My goal is APL

Absolutely, I wear weaves for a maximum of 4 weeks in a year and I retained length very well
